Rev. Dennis L. Brown is a native of Birmingham, Alabama where he obtained his primary, secondary, and college education. After retiring from a twenty year military career in 1996, he was called into the ministry and obtained a Bachelor in Theology Degree from the Birmingham Easonian Baptist Bible College in 2004.

Pastor Brown is presently the pastor of the West End Hills Missionary Baptist Church located in Birmingham, Al. His dynamic teaching style and profound perspective on the issues concerning church and community has produced one of the fastest growing congregations in the area.

The foundational purpose of his ministry is based on a multidimensional teaching entitled “Preparing Laborers for the Harvest” Matt 9:38.

 This teaching primarily has to do with bringing people to Jesus, developing them to Christ-like maturity, and deploying them into the harvest fields. A visionary leader that values excellence, integrity, and character, Pastor Brown continues to make a positive impact on the community and all he comes into contact with.

Pastor Brown is the eldest of five children of A.G. and Mary Jo Brown. He resides in Birmingham, Al with his lovely wife, Shelia, and their three children, Darius, Sherri, and Eric.
